Description and Aim
A Special Interest Group in Wave-Structure Interaction (SIG-WSI) has been formed within the UK Fluids Network (UKFN). The aim of the SIG-WSI is to bring together the community of researchers and developers around wave structure interaction. It will join the CCP-WSI Network with the shared objective of providing a focus for numerical modelling, software development and laboratory experimentation in applications relating to offshore renewable energy, coastal and ocean engineering, including building a national Numerical Wave Tank (NWT) facility.
The Kick-off Meeting of the SIG-WSI is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 25th of October 2017 at MMU, Manchester. The Meeting will introduce the SIG-WSI, provide a forum for WSI related discussions and will include a number of presentations from members of the WSI community.
